A mobile unit running continuously burns a lot of gas, and a truck-based supply needs a reliable schedule, on-site storage and a plan for weather or road closures. If the fuel chain cannot keep up, your mobile gas turbine generators become expensive spectators. Commercial structures can include bridge rental, Power-as-a-Service, LSTK EPC, and long-term O&M. Structure follows the project’s fuel, offtake, and timeline — not a one-size product sheet.
Should I wait for a factory-new OEM build or take new-surplus mobile inventory?
If the critical path is measured in months, verified new-surplus or packaged mobile inventory plus accountable EPC usually wins. If the campus can wait into a 2028 modular window, discuss FX-45 slots under NDA alongside interim mobile bridge power.
Are used turbines safe for multi-year bridge duty?
Yes, when inspection, refurbishment, and O&M are professional. Many “temporary” mobile plants become multi-year assets.
